DNT manages our business with Safety as the number one priority on every job and task that we perform. DNT has a Corporate Health & Safety Program and provides extensive job related safety training to all of our employees. Our employees are our most valuable asset, and we strive to conduct our business with their health and safety foremost in our operations.
DNT management monitors the EMR and OSHA Work-related Injuries and Illnesses data closely and communicates targets for these important safety indicators to the employees in order to express the significance these data have on the company and to reinforce the positive achievements of excellent safety performance. DNT has a zero incident goal for all of our projects. Safe behavior observations, safety inspections, pre-task safety plans, job hazards analysis, and investigations of any incident or near miss are all part of DNT’s typical project management in an effort to continually maintain and improve our safety awareness.
DNT employees are trained to perform the tasks required for each project and in compliance with OSHA and client requirements for the type of project and contaminants encountered. All DNT employees are 40-hour HAZWOPER trained with current 8-hour refreshers. In addition, DNT has a medical monitoring program, an injury management procedure and a substance abuse program that includes all employees.
